Why? Oh why??

Why does the baby toddler cry when we leave him with the sitter on some days, but not others? I have no idea, but it drives my husband and I nuts. One day we'll leave him with the sitter and he'll be perfectly content to have us leave while he plays with his friends. Other days he bawls hysterically as if we're never coming back.

I may never know why he is happy some days and sad other days. I do know that it is heartbreaking to have to walk away from your crying child, as if anything else is actually more important
