As a mom, the little things just break your heart. Like cleaning out your sons room in anticipation of his new Christmas gifts. Today I packed up several of his "baby toys." He is a big boy now, he doesn't play with these things, but it still makes this Mommy a little sad to see them go. They aren't going far, just in our basement storage room to wait for the next child. My Danny boy is getting so big so fast, he is so sweet, but every day he is getting older, smarter, taller and even funnier.
I only hope that he loves his new lego table and ball pit--it will make putting away his baby stuff worth it.
