The hubby and I were lucky enough to get away for a double dinner date with his brother and sister-in-law, two of our favorite people on earth. Not only did we have a great dinner at Brio, but we had a great time talking about all sorts of things, especially baby Brayden (our new nephew) due in March.
After dinner we watched football by the fire at our condo and stayed up way too late. At one point BIL made the comment "in a few years we'll have a bunch of kids running around here while we hang out," I hadn't really though about all that. We have Danny, they have Alexis and Brayden on the way, but yeah, in a few years we'll totally have a whole brood of kids running around, just like our parents did when they would hang out with their brothers and sisters. It is so strange to suddenly be grown up, having kids, and watching all of our childhood dreams and plans come true.
